Kaitlin is an attorney licensed to practice law in Virginia and Tennessee. Kaitlin attended the Appalachian School of Law where she served as Student Bar Association President. She also held the roles of Student Bar Association 1L and 2L Senator and President of Phi Alpha Delta fraternity. While in law school, Kaitlin completed a clerkship with the first female Circuit Court Judge for the 28th Judicial District in Virginia. Before moving to Tennessee, Kaitlin practiced in a small firm in Grundy, Virginia. She handled matters in civil litigation, debt collection, domestic relations, criminal law, real estate, and estate planning.
Kaitlin also held several appointments while practicing in Virginia. She was appointed as General Receiver for Buchanan County, where she held funds in trust. Kaitlin served as the Chair of the 29th Judicial District Young Lawyer Division of the Virginia State Bar and Treasurer of the local county bar association.
